Graduation Instructions

Lamar State College Port Arthur hosts three graduation events each year, with official ceremonies taking place in May and December. 

  1. Apply for graduation. To apply: The deadline for application has passed.
    Use the Online Graduation Application Form  or Download Graduation Application PDF version. Once you have completed the PDF form, submit your application by email to Henryaa@limitlessdj.com
    Candidates who do not meet the deadline must reapply for next semester’s graduation.
  2. Pay the $15 diploma fee to the Business Office. You have the options of paying by telephone or through your My正规靠谱赌博软件 account in My Services.  Please contact the Business Office for more information at 409-984-6126.
  3. Transfer Coursework.  Students that are currently attending or have attended other college(s) must include an unofficial transcript(s) when applying for graduation. Official transcripts with final grades must be submitted by the last day of the semester.
  4. Financial Obligations. Graduation candidates must pay ALL outstanding debts.

  5. Diplomas. Graduates who participate in the ceremony will receive their diploma at commencement. If you would like your diploma mailed to you, please pay the $11.00 diploma mailing fee at the Business Office (409-984-6126) by the application deadline.
  6. Cap and Gown. Flat black cap and gown with white collar must be worn by all ceremony participants. Cap and gowns can be purchased ONLINE at Barnes and Nobel Bookstore at lscpa.shopoakhalli.com. ONLY APPROVED STOLES AND CORDS ARE PERMITTED.

  7. Check your email regularly. All graduation correspondence will be emailed to your limitlessdj.com address.  A required survey that is part of your graduation application process will be emailed to you. Your diploma will not be released until the survey is completed.
  8. Graduation Orientation. Graduates are required to attend the graduation orientation.

Deadlines and Important Dates

 
April 1  Last day to apply and pay all associated graduation fees.
April 26  Last day to submit Graduation Stole Request Form.
May 2  Graduation Orientation begins at 6:00 p.m.
May 10  Graduation ceremony begins at 5:30 p.m.
May 15 First day to pick up diplomas from the Records Office.
